CONSUMER ADVICE: Applesauce at Trader Joe’s recalled

Manzana Products Co. is voluntarily recalling three different types of Trader Joe’s unsweetened apple sauces because there could be glass pieces in the product.

Each apple sauce is packaged in a 24-ounce glass jar, and customers can find the “Best Before” date stamped on top of the lid. Two out of the three products — Trader Joe’s Organic Unsweetened Apple Sauce and Trader Joe’s First Crush Unsweetened Gravenstein Apple Sauce — were distributed at stores nationwide.
