Gypsy moth spray dates announced

The Ohio Department of Agriculture announced today it hopes to complete its aerial gypsy moth treatment in Butler County some time this weekend. The exact time is not set in stone, as it depends on weather conditions.

Several residents of West Chester and Liberty expressed concern after last year’s spraying, saying they did not receive adequate notification.

The township and ODA have been working to change notification pans this year: are they working? Are you concerned about aerial spraying in the township?

For more on the spraying, you can check the township’s web site.
