Tyler Koch was a good get for WSU. He was given offers by WSU, Evansville, and Ball State. Big East and Big 10 schools were very interested.

Here is a link to WSU bball discussions about Koch that started in March.

Probably most Raider fans ignore the DDN site because the DDN tries to throw in their negative spin.

The most ridulous article I ever read in the DDN was the one about the “DDN not playing favorites when it comes to basketball”. The folks at the DDN really should have a reality check. Do they really expect the Miami Valley to take them seriously?

Wright State is growing and the fans will be back in in big numbers next year. The Raiders are poised to have their best years in their D I history. Don’t be negative. The young men who are commiting to WSU know this!! People do care and you know IT, you just don’t want WSU to do well!

Wright State finishes every year in the top third of NCAA Div 1 attendance. Last year they were around 90th which places them in the same attendance ranking as Charlotte, UMass, Southern Cal, and Butler. Wright States attendance is better than two-thirds of the teams in the A-10 and every team in the MAC. So, I think a lot of people care. Now that they have a quality coach, high school players are starting to care. Signings like this will only increase the attendance at WSU.

6’5” is as big as it gets for a college guard

Why would anyone comment here? Wright State fans knew about Tyler’s commitment and discussed on their board extensively for several days now. Tyler is not a DaShaun Wood kind of a player; he is a taller version of Vaughn Duggins.

Who writes your headlines? Since when is a 6’5” player a big man?

The article hasn’t been up that long. Do you expect for everyone to be checking in on the website constantly to read these articles and comment?

Anyway, this is a great pick up for the Raiders. He has the size and the ability to score from the point guard position, a big game player, kind of like DaShaun Wood. Not that he is there yet, but maybe in a few years he can be the go to guy for WSU
