DEAR CHICK LUDWIG’S EDITOR:
You must be as lazy as your reporters. Why did you allow the Dayton Daily News to report “RED HOT RUMOR GREGORY TO MU?”
The Dayton Daily news is now nothing but a rumor-mill blog-site.
Are you all in your jammies “Blogging” from home?
I will never read your “paper” or your “reporting” again.
I wonder what Ritter Collett would think of Chick Ludwig’s “reporting.”
Disgusting.
In fact, we don’t care about WSU. Oh no, we don’t play them anymore…all that means is a fake, forced rivalry was taken off the schedule. I can truly say I have never rooted against WSU. When UD played them I rooted for UD, and after the game WSU faded from my thoughts.
You would think between Chick and the paranoid WSU fans that post on these boards (on articles about UD, not WSU) that Insecurity and Inferiority are majors at WSU, not complexes.
UD basketball is nothing more than a social event…..put on a good show and the people are happy. If I were Gregory I’d stay too, where else would people be so happy with mediocrity?
Gregory will not go anywhere. No top program, such as Marquette, will want him. Gregory needs to take his team to the NCAA in consecutive years before I would start wondering if he will take another job…he has the best job he could find right now.
Due to several great writers, DDN is my favorite resource to read about the Flyers. However Chick and a few other writers seem to have an obvious bias against UD. This year there has been multiple articles written with no purpose other than to put down the program. From reading his stuff this year, I feel Chick misunderstands the average Flyer fan in several areas:
- We don’t hate WSU and respect their recent success.
- We do not want to fire BG.
- We are realistic about our team’s abilities.
Gregory is staying???? But I could have swore the greatest investigative reporter Chuck Ludwig said he was as good as gone yesterday. You know in that blog he wrote, what happened to that? Why does Ludwig even write on Dayton? The National news and local stories are bad enough but now the sports is getting to be unreadable. It’s a shame all we have to choose from for local news is this paper.

Finally someone is calling out Chick Ludwig. What a clown. I will never subscribe to this rag again. Thank you for making the choice easy.

Sean Miller is not interested in the Marquette job.
Is it possible that the Dayton Daily News is the last to know?

Chick criticizing a coach for not doing their job well is like Charles Manson criticizing someone for not respecting the law
