Sorry to upset you guys, shall I reword my post? How pathetic is it that we’re trying to get tickets to see teams compete to be……. 44th place? And spare me about this being the “Battle of Ohio,” the best team in Ohio plays Thursday night in the real tournament.

I am an OSU grad that went to high school in the Dayton area. Should be a great game and while I am pulling for OSU a Dayton would be a nice consolation prize. As for scheduling cupcakes, has anyone seen the Bucks schedule this year? North Carolina, Tennessee, Butler, Florida, Syracuse, Texas A&M! You can accuse the Bucks of a lot of things, but playing an easy schedule isn’t one of them.

I am from the Dayton area, attended UD, but graduated from OSU. I have followed the Flyers since Bill Uhl played center Who will I root for? Well, I had tickets for the ‘85 game in St. John, but gave mine away, because I couldn’t choose. The next year, thanks to a friend at UD, I got six tickets at the top of the UD arena and cheered the Flyers to victory. In football, Go Bucks! In basketball, Flyers forever! Win this one for Junior Norris and the rest of the greats!

Started calling the 1-800 number and at the same time was on-line at 10:00 AM. Both were totally tied up. I was able to get on-line around 11:30 AM and bought 8 tickets for the UD - OSU game. With Chris Wright back to par, UD will come through with a W in Columbus. Go UD Go Go UD to New York!!!!

Agree this is a very stupid question and a stupid blog. Battle of Ohio for the NOT IMPORTANT TOURNEY. How many old farts will be there in red sweaters ? It’s a tough call on who to root for. “Thadeous The Liar Matta” or the “UD Flyers from Ohio’s worst city” ? Maybe they can both be losers. I saw 4 tickets on Ebay, second row, center court, $10 for all. Someone in Grove City had them …. I’ll be watching American Idol ….

At 2:30 today I went to the OSU website, clicked on Buy Tickets and purchased two tickets with no problems at all. It took less than 10 minutes for the entire transaction.

Went online at 10:00 and had my tickets by 10:10. Very easy website and gave me plenty of time to enter all the payment info. Club level at the foul line.

I got through and my clock said 10:01, a lady answers the phone and tells me I can’t get tickets yet because its only 9:58 her time. Then hangs up on me!!!!! After about 40 mins trying to get back through and unable to get on the site, I finally got tickets sec 215. GO FLYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No problem on the OSU ticket website. Bought a total of 8 tickets in three groups. 2 Adult & 2 Student; 2 Student; 2 Adult. Very easy.

It’s amazing how dumb some UD fans are. The question was “Have you been able to get tickets to the University of Dayton game at Ohio State? Tell us about your experience.” Not who is going to win or does OSU play cupcakes. There were two idiots who bashed OSU. Were they able to get tickets? Probably not because they are too stupid to follow simple directions.

No problems getting tickets. The website was kind of slow, but I was able to get courtside tickets to root on the Buckeyes. All of this happened right at 10 o’clock. By 12:20 they had 12,600 tickets sold.

I’ve followed both teams for a long time, and am glad that the Buckeyes finally started playing in-state teams again a couple of years ago. GO BUCKS!!!

We were able to get 7 tickets online as soon as the tickets went on sale. We live in Columbus but are die-hard UD fans and have been waiting for this matchup for years. So tired of hearing Buckeyes hype all these years. It has been so annoying. We even traveled to Dayton in that blizzard a couple of weeks ago to root on our Flyers.

I’m from DAYTON, stuck here in Columbus. I’ve always knocked OSU for ducking the other Ohio schools. They should do like Ky. pass a law making them play a certain # of Ohio schools each year & drop the ten (10) cupcakes, they entertain yearly. That last time I looked we via taxes support OSU!

I couldn’t get through calling in, but I was able to get tickets online. I hopped on around 10:30 and got through around 11:00. Also, multiple windows won’t help. It queues you up FIFO style. GET SOME TICKETS!

Just got tix a half hour ago on www.hangonsloopy.com. Club level… You have to let the counter go through for a while, but you will get in eventually.

I got through twice on the 1-800 GO BUCKS number, but there is no way to purchase tickets. There is a recorded message and no live people to take calls. You think you are in but then the system just cuts you off after a couple of recorded lines. I have also had 4 open windows to try to access the online tickets. There is a counter which tries to access the site every 60 seconds. Mine was going for over 1 1/2 hours and then completely disconnected. It looks like the online system crash.
