Lindsay Lohan sues E*Trade’s ‘milkaholic” baby

It seems Li-Lo doesn’t want to be made fun of by a computer enhanced baby.

Actress Lindsay Lohan has filed a lawsuit against E*Trade Financial Corp for $100 million, claiming the company’s “milkaholic” baby girl ripped off her likeness, according to the New York Post.

“Lindsay,” the milkaholic in the commercial , pops into a conversation between a baby couple after the girl baby implied that ‘milkaholic Lindsay’ may have been the reason the boy baby didn’t call her the night before.

“Milk-a-what,” the baby Lindsay says.

Lohan, who has famously had issues with the bottle, claims E*Trade violated her right of privacy by using her “likeness, name, characterization, and personality” without permission, according to Reuters.

There are a lot of Lindays in the world, but Lohan’s attoney told the Post that his client has the same single-name recognition as Oprah or Madonna.

Really? Wow.

Seems Lohan might be being overly sensitive this time, but what do you think?

She’s not getting enough attention, so now she wants more. That’s all this is about.

Get over yourself, LL. You never crossed my mind as the subject of this ad.

Surprised she was sober enough to realize someone was talking about her. Why does the media give people like Lohan, Hilton and Ritchie any publicity? Does anyone really care about these people? What do they contribute to society besides cannon fodder for the press.

A frivolous suit. They speak the name Lindsay,.. could be Lindsey. Lindsey Vonn, Hal Lindsey, Lindsey Buckingham. Guess the only thing in common is being an ‘aholic’.

Lindsay who, again? Is she one of those pop tarts we keep hearing too much about?

Good way to make some money though, they will settle this and she will be able to continue her party girl ways. There is enough there to sue, watch the ad again.

I hope she doesn’t get squat. There’s no way she can prove they meant her in the commercial and she’s not that important.

I agree, didn’t realize it was suppose to be Lohan until this article. The only way to win in such a likeness suit is to look at whether people associate Lohan with the controversy. Don’t think you’re gonna win this one babe…

She is a public figure. You can violate her privacy by using her “likeness”.

Is every one named Lindsey going to sue this company? It didn’t enter my mind when I saw the ad that it was about someone that I haven’t give any tought about. Get over it.

Only in America could someone make a living getting paid 5 digits to go to a party. I have seen web posts where she gets in the 25-50k ballpark to attend a parties in Vegas, LA, Hamptons, etc.

This is a win-win for Lindsay and E*Trade. She calls attention to herself by suing. The video gets attention from people wanting to see what the hubbub is all about. She doesn’t care if it’s good or bad publicity. It’s publicity…so long as they spell her name right.

They only would have been using her likeness if the baby had some formula powder under her nose.
